The Malayalam Film Ayal Jeevichiruppundu has hit the screens today. There weren’t any other Malayalam releases, The Kollywood flick Dhruvangal Pathinaaru also hit the screens in Kerala today. Ayal Jeevichirippundu is the directorial venture of Scriptwriter Vyasan. The film stars Vijay Babu and Manikandan Achari in lead roles. Ayal Jeevichirippundu revolves around two persons, the two persons who travels through different horizons in life meets accidentaly and what happens next forms the crux of the story. A renowned and award winning writer John Mather meets fisher man Murugan who struggles to meet his daily needs the interaction between the two who shares different levels in the society and the incidents that follows makes the film run 140 minutes. Kammatipaadam Fame Manikandan Achary’s second outing is Ayal Jeevichirippundu and Vijay Babu recently said that it is the best role he has enacted in his career and hence there were some expecation to watch the movie.

The first half of the movie is all about Murugan who meets Joy Mathew in Goa and they shares a good time in Goa. The second half was a much serious one. The director failed to make a crisp idea about the incidents in the movie like how the characters became so close..etc. The director managed to portray the life of John Mathew, the writer his emotions and the struggles and mindset of a writer was weel portrayed in the film and the role demanded good acting skills and Vijay Babu did a decent job. Manikandan Achary did a good job it seemed that he was trying hard to get into the character. Marathi Actress Namratha played the role of Vijay Babu’s charcater’s wife in the film. The music for the film was tuned by Ouseppachan and the songs and the background scores were good. Hari Nair has cranked the camera for the film and the cinematographer managed to capture some goot and beatiful frames of Goa. The editing was done by B Ajithkumar.

FINAL VERDICT : Failed to Impress the audience, filled with cons rather than pros.
