After a long interval Malayalam films have made their way back to theatres with the release of Dulquer Salman’s Jomonte suvisheshangal. As one can expect the movie is a family entertainer. With the power of his name, director sathyan Anthikad managed to attract a huge crowd to theatres in the first day itself. Dulquer’s fan power was clearly visible at the theatres as they flooded with youngsters. The film centers around the central character jomon portrayed by Dulquer Salman and his family circle. Actor Mukesh played the role of Vincent, jomon’s father. Jomon also have a sister and brother respectively portrayed by Muthumani and vinu Mohan. Through the film, the director has tried to project the father-son relationship in our society.
Premam actress Anupama parameswaran acted in the lead female role. She was good in her role and was an excellent pair for Dulquer Salman. Aishwarya Rajesh also have done a decent job in the film. Innocent, Jacob Gregory, manobala and rasna was in supporting roles. In the positive side, the film have a good plot and all credits goes to Iqbal kuttipuram. As usual sathyan Anthikad has once again proved his caliber through this film.
Dulquer was very comfortable with the storyline and never went out of line. Anupama was equally good and done her part in a decent manner. Not to say, Mukesh is the plus point of the film. Songs were also good. Cinematography is excellent.
On the whole, the film is an excellent comedy entertainer. There is not a single moment of boredom in the film. If you like family comedy ones, this is your cup of tea. Book your tickets now.
